These videos are from a series of works where I explore the cameras "objectness". I regard the camera as a thing that reacts independently to its environment and I encourage its "natural" behavior. The camera performs – it’s brain whirrs, its one big eye auto-focuses, its smallness and its hard shell aids its insistence to go where I can’t physically go. Like me, it also appears curious about unfamiliar things and spaces.
